Don't Quit !!!

When things go wrong, as they sometimes will,
When the road you're trudging seems all uphill,
When the funds are low and the debts are high,
and you want to smile but you have to sigh,
When care is pressing you down a bit -
rest if you must,but Don't you Quit !

Footprints !

One night a man dreamed that he was walking along the
beach with the Lord, across the sky flashed scenes from
his life, for each scene he noticed two sets of footprints,
one belonging to him and the other to the Lord ...
When the last scene of his life flashed before him, he
looked back at the footprints. He noticed that many times
along the path of life, there was only one set of footprints.
He also noticed that it happened
at the very lowest and saddest times of his life...
This bothered him and he questioned the Lord about it :
“Lord, You said that once I decided to follow you,
You'd walk with me all the way. But I’ve noticed that
during the most troublesome times in my life, there is only
one set of footprints. I don't understand why,
when I needed you most, you would leave me.”
The Lord replied :
“My son, I Love You and
I would never leave you during your times of trial.
When you have seen only one set of footprints,
it was then that I carried you.”

My Beauty Mantra

For attractive lips, speak words of kindness.
For lovely eyes, seek out the good in people.
For a slim figure, share your food with the hungry.
For beautiful hair, let a child run his/her fingers through it once a day.
For poise, walk with the knowledge that you never walk alone.
People, even more than things, have to be restored, renewed, revived, reclaimed, and redeemed; never throw out anyone.
Remember, if you ever need a helping hand, you will find one at the end of each of your arms.
As you grow older, you will discover that you have two hands; one for helping yourself, and the other for helping others

Net Friend

Although you are a friend of mine and letters we exchange,
I wouldn't know you on the street,and doesn't that seem strange?
You hold a place within my life,unusual and unique;
We share ideals and special dreams,and still, we do not speak.
I picture what I think you are,perhaps you picture me.
An intriguing game for both of us for someone we can't see.
So for this friendship we possess,we owe this mail a debt,
Perhaps the charm lies in the factthat we have never met.
